Today I received notice from the Wisconsin Elections Commission to acknowledge receipt of 256 valid signatures as determined by their staff on my nomination papers as the Republican candidate for the office of Representative to the Assembly District 79 in the General Election to be held November 3, 2026.
My Declaration of Candidacy is recorded as filed April 24.
Yesterday, June 2, I filed my Statement of Economic Interests as required with the Wisconsin Ethics Commission before the deadline which is 4:30pm tomorrow, June 4.
The number of valid nomination signatures is “subject to challenge within 3 calendar days following the deadline for filing” said deadline having been 5pm June 1.
No fewer than 200 valid signatures are required for nomination. Two hundred and sixty-seven signatures were submitted to the Elections Commission on Friday, May 29.
